Meet The Animals
All our animals on Holmwood farm live a free-range life with 2 and a half acres of land to roam free. We have 18 perky pigs, 160 chirpy chickens, 2 adorable alpacas and 2 gorgeous goats. They enjoy doing what they do best.
This is Piggywig. She was the first pig to land at Holmwood farm and is the most famous pig in Barnston! She is very well mannered and is very polite when it comes to food. Piggywig is mum to 6 gorgeous micro piggys doing very well and gave birth to 5 gorgeous baby piglets 5 weeks ago.
This is Albert. His most favourite thing is eating! He loves to sleep, sleep and sleep. Albert is a slight on the heavy side but oh well...... at least he's enjoying himself!
This is Glitzy. She knows what she wants and when she wants it...she has it! Glitzy can be the boss at times but when you really know her she has a heart of gold. Glitzy is also mum to 7 happy and healthy piglets.
This is Norman. Norman loves food! He's a loving, happy pig and sits for you when he can smell food, Norman is blind but knows our voices and always comes rushing towards us.
These are our goats, Louis and Chester. Louis is a cheeky boy, he loves to play games and thinks he's the boss! Chester is a ball of joy who loves the feed and loves you to talk to him!
This is Moe the alpaca. He can be quite a show off and does like the atttention. He likes to know he always has a nice big stack of hay and does like some caulifower every now and then! He also has another friend..... The nosey alpaca! i suppose they do get along sometimes!
This is Joe the alpaca! He takes care of the rescue chickens when they arrive and makes sure they all are being kept safe. He is very intrigued by all around him and is a big fan of hay!
These are our chickens. We have 160 chickens. Many of these are rescued from being sent to slaughter or are 'no longer wanted' as a battery hen. We take care of any chickens no longer wanted as pets also. With a bit of TLC the rescue chickens will be looking as gorgeous as our other girls soon.
These are the farm bunnies! This bunny was found at our farm roaming around with our piggys, we think he lost his home around 3 months ago, this bunny now lives at the farm and is a friendly, loving and excited bunny. We gave our little bunny a friend and now we have cute little babies at our farm.
